This rosé comes from over 100-year-old ungrafted vines grown on granite soils in Tinos, among the “Volakes” formations. The ungrafted vines grow at high altitude (400-440 m) using organic methods, on sandy and clayey soils. The microclimate influenced by the Meltemi winds gives the wine a unique minerality, with a savory flavor and vibrant acidity that make it distinctive from other similar wines in Greece. A rare and fascinating rosé, the result of an exceptional terroir.

Südtirol – Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Rosé 2024 – Rottensteiner – Italian Rosè
14,00 €
The Hans Rottensteiner winery was founded in 1956 in Bolzano and is one of South Tyrol's historic wineries. For generations, the Rottensteiner family has been cultivating vineyards on porphyritic soils, the typical “red stone” that gives the family its name and gives the wines their unique identity. Today, the winery is run by Toni and Hannes Rottensteiner, who have a strong connection to tradition and a modern approach to winemaking. Great attention is paid to the region's iconic grape varieties, such as Lagrein, Schiava, and Santa Maddalena, which are cultivated with respect, precision, and passion. Tradition, authenticity, and quality are the values that accompany every wine, from the vineyard to the bottle.

Fascinating in its amber pink color, a chromatic stamp that invites one to discover as many scents. On the nose, it is precise with an immediate vivacity, making it easy to perceive the fruit, fragrances of currants, strawberries and rhubarb with the unmistakable character of raspberry. The palate offers itself with juicy, satisfying sip, amidst stimuli where you find tea or infusions from morello cherry fruit, as well as herbs like lemon balm. Lively and a body as vinous as it is velvety.
